Coatings:Coatings can be done in a variety of applications and colors. Some just for aesthetics and some for performance! See list below for our coating options:
|
DLC / TiNi Coatings
$650.00
Wanting to improve suspension performance with an added look?
- DLC (black) or TiNi (color) is a PVD coating applied to the chrome steel portions of fork stanchions or shock shaft.
- Pricing listed below is for coating cost ONLY
- Fork stanchions or shock shafts are micro polished before coating.
- This process is only a few microns thick and will not fill any blemishes
- Any suspension being coated will need to be sent in for professional disassemble and re-assembly
- Coatings are not permanent and will wear over a long period of time
Type II and Type III Anodizing
$380.00
- Anodizing is basically color dye that can be chemically/electrically adhered to Aluminum parts
- Billet machined parts will have a better, glossier more uniform finish
- Cast parts will typically have a dull finish unless polished beforehand but cannot guarantee a uniform finish
- Billet parts that are mirror polished will create a "wet" or "candy" finish
- Professional "mirror" polishing can be added upon request
- All motocross fork tubes are spin polished beforehand
